It's a Bug's Life: Bees & Ladybugs

Today we learned about bees, who make our honey! KT pasted bees on a picture of honeycomb before we had a morning tea party.
KT and I had a fancy tea party with herbal tea with honey and cookies.
Thursdays are going to be library day, so we went to the Lakehills Library for about an hour.  KT loved working on the puzzles!
Back home again and working on some play-doh bugs.  Do you see the ladybug?
Searching the garden for bees (we saw plenty) but not a ladybug anywhere.
We drew a line of bees, ladybugs, ants and spiders on the pavilion floor.  KT played hop, hop, hop from one bug to the other!

It's a Bug's Life: Ants and Spiders!

Day one of Mimi's Summer Day Camp began on June 5th, with a full day planned learning about ants and spiders!
KT's not afraid of much, and she really had fun playing with the rubber spiders and ants...we put them on the floor and she stomped on them!
When we went outside searching for ants and spiders, KT was sidetracked by the dandelions!  She pulled some and knew to blow on them.  Amazing!
Painting rocks to make ants!
Creepy crawlies...oh my!
Making her own lunch, individual cheese pizza.  Yummm!
Time out for water play!
Scary spider!
